Who is friendly dial for?

Anyone over 18 years old that has loneliness and a lack of friend to talk to is welcome to book a call.

Is this a coaching, suicide prevention or therapy call?

It's important to note that Friendly Dial IS NOT a counseling, therapy, coaching, advisory service or a suicide prevention life line. Friendly Dial is really just a listening service and will provide resources to you should you need an emergency hotline. Friendly Dial shall not be held responsible for any injury or damages suffered by the Client, or any other third party. By using Friendly Dial befriending and listening service, the Client agrees that he/she shall defend and hold harmless Friend

what if i need counseling or other help?

Friendly Dial does not offer a counseling/therapy/coaching service or act in any way as a suicide prevention line. Any calls with talks of suicide or mental distress will be very kindly persuaded by using the QPR method to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number, for professional help. Friendly Dial will presume that the client calls the number given to them upon our request. Friendly Dial will not be held responsible for any calls to that number that the client does or doesn’t make

What if i am not satisfied with the call?

Our goal is to be here for you as a listener and friend. As a first time caller, you will be sent your invoice after the completion of the call. You do not have to pay the first call if you felt we did not give you an ear to listen to you. Any bookings made after the first call requires a non refundable $25 booking fee which applies towards your first 20 minutes.

Who will i be talking to?

We have a team of people that are experienced with loneliness in their own lives. People that are currently living with it and/or have overcame it. You will be assigned a team member and that will be the same person you speak to each time (unless you request to speak to someone else).

how far ahead must i schedule in advance?

All calls should be scheduled within 1-2 days from the call booking. We do offer calls within a 2 hour window however they will be charged an additional $10 which must be paid prior to the call.

are calls recorded?

No calls are recorded without the callers knowledge. Everything discussed is confidential. We do take notes to ensure a growing friendship is established so you don't feel like you're talking to a stranger the next time you talk. Our goal is to become your friend and not just someone that makes you feel like you're calling someone that doesn't care.
